Dear delegate to Seizures & stroke,
Starting this month we will supply you with a monthly update on the congress preparations, interesting news in the field, and program updates. We will also provide practical information and advice on how to make the most of your congress.
Spread the word
Seizures & stroke is a new conference and we rely on you to spread the word to your professional network. Do encourage colleagues to register for the meeting and consider submitting an abstract (best abstracts will be offered full-length publication in a special issue of Epilepsy & Behavior). E-mail your abstract to firstname.lastname@example.org (template available on the website). Also please like and share our linkedin post and facebook page, and follow us on twitter.
Publications from congress faculty
This month, we would like to draw your attention to a new article published in Seizure with Francesco Brigo as the lead author and several other speakers as co-authors describing a systematic review and network meta-analysis of treatment of post-stroke seizures.
Getting to Gothenburg
Making the most of your stay in Gothenburg
Gothenburg is the second largest city in Sweden and the fifth-largest in the Nordic countries (population 600 000 in the city centre). Train connections are excellent to Stockholm, Oslo and Copenhagen and direct flights are available from more than 65 European cities.
Airport coaches run every 10-20 minutes. The ride is only 20 minutes.
Gothenburg offers exhibitions, shopping and excellent dining – with most sites within walking distance from all congress hotels. Opportunities during Seizures and stroke include: the Titanic world exhibition, art exhibitions, concerts, sport events, outdoor activities, and more. See the city official website for more ideas!
